Kevin has been an instrumental member of the Grayson team for over ten years and in 2007 was named president of the firm. His experience as a highly successful retail executive has earned him deep respect in the industry and afforded him a strong competitive edge in consulting, allowing him to consistently deliver measurable results.
Before becoming a partner at The Grayson Company, Kevin was Senior VP of Retail Development at Tommy Hilfiger, where he led the largest, fastest, most successful Shop in Shop rollout in the history of retail. This dramatically enhanced Kevin's already impressive career and established him as one of the world's experts in retail concept development, merchandising, branding and store marketing.
Kevin began his career with Federated Department Stores. After completing their legendary training program, he advanced from Assistant Buyer through Store Manager and Buyer to Divisional Merchandise Manager. Kevin launched many of Federated's most profitable private label lines which dramatically grew both sales and profitability.
Kevin left Federated to meet the challenge of turning around a failing menswear specialty chain. He quickly brought the old-line business back to life by creating all new, exclusive, highly-profitable branded items. He was so successful in turning around both the chain's cash flow and image, that the business was subsequently sold one year later at a premium price.
Kevin has led dozens of engagements with retailers and investment firms while working at Grayson. He has delivered solid productivity and profitability improvements in every instance. Some of the world's biggest retail brands, as well as smaller companies, have profited from The Grayson Company's consulting, much of it thanks to the unmatched experience Kevin brings to every engagement.
